The Confirmation preparation program is designed to bring young adults to the full knowledge of their Catholic faith and to understand their role as active adult Catholics.
An important component of this program is ministering and service to others. Service opportunities are provided through different parish organizations, as well as on an individual basis.
Sacramental preparations for First Holy Communion and Confirmation are two-year preparation programs. This program consists of a remote year and a proximate year. These years run consecutively. Typically the proximate year for First Holy Communion is second grade and the eighth grade year for Confirmation. The candidate must have been actively enrolled in CCD during the remote year.
