Every weekend, Mass at St. Anthony's is celebrated with music. We are always in need of musicians and vocalists. If you have any experience or the desire to sing with the choir; we would be glad to meet you.

Our Ministry includes:

  • Choirs: Adult, Youth and Children's

  • Gregorian Schola

  • Cantors

Adult Practice Times
  • Practice for the Sunday 7:30 AM Mass is at 7:00 AM. (This choir is open to all and helps lead the congregational singing (Hymns & Responsorial Psalm). This group does not prepare special music. )

  • Practice for the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass is at 9:00 a.m.

Special Celebration and Music Notes

At Easter and Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, Brass instruments accompany the choir for special music and perform a 30 minute "Pre-Mass" Prelude.

During Lent portions of the Mass (Sanctus, Agnus Dei) are sung in Latin for all Masses.  Also, there is no Recessional Hymn - the Assembly is asked to leave in silence.
