2020 Scholarship Awards

St. Anthony Knights of Columbus Council 12300 is pleased to announce the scholarship award winners for the graduating seniors of 2020. The scholarship awards were determined based on the candidate’s participation in religious education, service at the Holy Mass, participation and leadership roles in parish youth organizations, and volunteer activities in support of our parish and wider community. In lieu of an interview process, we asked each candidate to prepare an essay on how the candidate and their family
adapted to the separation from the sacraments and the sacrifice of the Mass and maintained a practice of the faith during the Covid-19 pandemic. The members of the Scholarship Committee were very impressed with the quality of the candidates, their service to their parish community, volunteerism, desire to learn, and unwavering faith in these troubling times.

Please keep these outstanding young Catholics in your prayers as they commence the next steps in their life journey, for success in their academic endeavors, for the Holy Spirit to be constantly in their presence, for a continued dedication to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and for steadfast fortitude in their defense of the institution and teachings of the church.  

The Knights would like to extend our sincere thanks to the St. Anthony Parishioners, community business leaders and members of the Council who support fundraisers, such as our annual golf tournament, pancake brunches, and fish fries that make the award of these scholarships possible.
