Sacrament of ConfirmationThe Diocese of Dallas typically administers the sacrament of Confirmation in 8th grade (age 13) and requires
two years of formation starting in the 7th grade.
Our two-year formation process includes service opportunities, learning about Catholic discipleship, and practicing prayer to prepare young disciples to receive the sacrament of Confirmation and, if needed, First Communion.
There are two models: Parish Sessions and Home-Based Catechesis.
Retreats are available for 7th and 8th-grade candidatoes.
La Diócesis de Dallas típicamente administra el sacramento de la Confirmación en el grado 8 (edad 13) y requiere dos años de formación a partir del grado 7.
Nuestra formación incluye oportunidades de servicio, aprendizaje sobre siendo discípulos católicos y práctica de la oración para preparar a los jóvenes discípulos para recibir el sacramento de la Confirmación y, si es necesario, la Primera Comunión.
