The Dallas Catholic Youth Conference is an exciting weekend of prayer, community, and worship that gathers high school teens from throughout the Catholic Diocese of Dallas and beyond. Teens are invited to deepen their relationship with Jesus through powerful speakers, praise and worship music, vibrant liturgies, recreation, Reconciliation, and Adoration. DCYC provides an opportunity for youth to hear from nationally known dynamic speakers and musicians who bring to life the message of Jesus Christ and challenge youth to live out their faith as his disciples.Join the campaign here and help us raise $500!
La Conferencia de Jóvenes Católicos de Dallas es un emocionante fin de semana de oración, comunidad y adoración que reúne a adolescentes de secundaria de toda la Diócesis Católica de Dallas y más allá. Los adolescentes están invitados a profundizar su relación con Jesús a través de oradores poderosos, música de alabanza y adoración, liturgias vibrantes, recreación, Reconciliación y Adoración. Life Nights serve youth in grades 9th to 12th by empowering a community of young disciples seeking to actively live their faith, rooted in God’s love. These nights offer youth an opportunity to have their questions answered by participating in a discussion-integrated lesson and small group conversation. Topics include current events/culture, how to pray with Scripture, apologetics, Church History, and virtuous friendships. A night of fun activity, friendship, interesting lessons, and dinner.
Required Texts: Bible
Note: High School Youth who need the sacrament of Confirmation should register for Formation for Confirmation but are welcome to register for Life Nights as well.
Life Nights sirven jóvenes en de grados 9 a 12 al empoderar a una comunidad de jóvenes discípulos que buscan vivir activamente su fe, arraigada en el amor de Dios. Estas noches ofrecen a los jóvenes la oportunidad de obtener respuestas a sus preguntas participando en una lección integrada de discusión y una conversación en grupos pequeños. Los temas incluyen eventos actuales/cultura, cómo orar con las Escrituras, apologética, Historia de la Iglesia y amistades virtuosas. Una noche de actividad divertida, amistad, lecciones interesantes y cena.
Textos Requeridos: BibliaNota: Los jóvenes de secundaria que necesiten el sacramento de la Confirmación deben registrarse para la Formación para la Confirmación, pero también pueden registrarse para Life Nights.
