JCDA

Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas (JCDA), our youth program for girls ages 6 through 18, was founded in 1925. JCDA members have four basic goals operating under the motto of Message, Service, and Community:

1. Develop one’s character as a Christian;
2. Learn to work for the good of others;
3. Grow Spiritually;
4. Be creative and flexible.

Unlike other youth programs such as Girl Scouts and American Girl, JCDA offers young ladies a wonderful opportunity to immerse themselves into spiritual growth, leadership, and service, centered around our Catholic Faith! JCDA members are the present and the future of CDA, our Church, and society. The JCDA in Texas has provided outstanding services to its members and has played an important role in the Catholic youth community. Our local court here at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church was installed in 2011.
If you are a young lady between the ages of 6-18, we invite you to come to a monthly meeting and consider joining our court! Each month we conduct a business meeting according to parliamentary procedures, followed by snacks, games, and more!
